Kaiser Chiefs have announced a tour of the UK and Ireland set for next year. The twelve-date jaunt, kicking-off February 19 in Dublin, Ireland, will see support from the Black Kids. When music is your life it only makes sense that it’s your career too. Music photographer Danny North talks to ePHOTOzine about life as the Kaiser Chief’s tour photographer and how playing in a band brought him back to his photographic roots. The forthcoming V Festival Australia has revealed the first acts to take part in the third annual festival. Among the bands’ announced are The Killers, Snow Patrol, and Kaiser Chiefs. The Kaiser Chiefs are a punk British new wave band that took over the Brit-pop airwaves after the late-90s demise of Oasis and Blur. For their third record, the five-piece from Leeds teamed up with super producer Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Ghostface Killah) to reinvent their sound. We caught up with drummer-chief songwriter Nick Hodgson in NY. ‘Good Days Bad Days‘ is the second single by English rock band Kaiser Chiefs from their third album Off with Their Heads, which was released on 20 October 2008. The song will be released on December 16, 2008. They are still making the video for this single but until then they’ve made an official alternative promo video available. Kaiser Chiefs will release a live DVD on Nov. 25. Our thoughts are with Kaiser Chiefs keyboard player, Peanut, as he has been taken to hospital in Brazil after being diagnosed with Appendicitis in Sao Paulo.
