Like everywhere else, Rastafari culture is big in South Africa. Complete with affected Jamaican patois, annual music and religious festivals, and even incorporated into (predominantly white) surfer culture. Much of their expression is of course done through their music. But increasingly they are utilizing film too. Bob Marley. Reggae, Herb n’ Rasta baby! Men dream. Robert wasn’t just another “pretty boy”. He’s still the man! Cancer took him in 1981. The music lives! I don’t have prejudice against meself. My father was a white and my mother was black. Mormons have a back door on their Temples reserved only for Jesus Christ when He comes back. Rastafarians have already witnessed the Second Coming. Well, I finally got inspired to bust out another reggae themed wallpaper, so here it is. I just finished it a couple of minutes ago…and it’s kinda simple, but the smoke has got a lot goin on in it. Hope everyone digs this one as much as they’ve liked the previous versions…. For all you Nike SB fans the Zoom series Tre A.D. is sometimes overlooked but with the most banging colorways out there you really have to stop and wonder why and how does this happen. The green/gold/red of Jamaica aka the Rasta colorscheme is one of my favorites and it really stands out on the black back drop of this comfy, performance kick.
